CINERA ("we", "us") is an unincorporated project based in the United Kingdom, operating the website at the address you used to reach this page. For any privacy question or request, contact cineratv@gmail.com.

We only collect what we need to run the service:

• Register-interest enquiries. When you submit the register-interest form, your email client sends us your name, email address, the genre you publish in, and an optional portfolio link, so we can contact you about the beta.
• Account information. When accounts are enabled, we'll store the email address you sign up with, a display name, and authentication tokens. Passwords are never stored in plaintext.
• Uploaded films and metadata. Filmmakers provide the video files, posters, titles, descriptions and genre tags they choose to publish.
• Usage signals. Basic logs of which pages and films were loaded, completion of playback, and technical info like IP address, browser and device type, used to operate the service and detect abuse.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. The platform is intended for users 16 and older.

• To provide the streaming and upload service.
• To moderate uploads against the content policy and investigate reports.
• To calculate watch time, payouts and creator analytics.
• To communicate with you about your account, films, payouts, or important changes to the service.
• To keep the platform secure and prevent fraud.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use the content of films, viewing history, or messages to train third-party AI models.

CINERA is built on third-party infrastructure. Information you give us is processed by these providers strictly to run the service:

• A managed backend platform for authentication, database storage, file storage and serverless functions.
• Hosting and content delivery for serving the website and video streams.
• Email for transactional messages and replies to enquiries.

We choose providers that offer appropriate security and contractual protections. As the platform grows we'll publish a more detailed list of subprocessors here.

CINERA uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember playback state. We don't run third-party advertising trackers. If we add analytics, we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent.

Account information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle disputes and meet legal obligations. Films you publish are kept until you remove them. Basic logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting and then deleted or aggregated.

Depending on where you live (for example, in the UK or EU under the UK GDPR / GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to certain uses, and to complain to your local data protection authority. You can exercise any of these by emailing cineratv@gmail.com.

We use standard platform controls — encrypted transport (HTTPS), access-controlled storage, server-side authentication, and row-level access rules on user data — to protect your information. No online service is perfectly secure. If you believe you've spotted a vulnerability, please contact cineratv@gmail.com before disclosing it publicly so we can fix it.

Our infrastructure providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your information.

We may update this policy as the platform grows. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll notify you through the app or by email.
